GATCHA

THE VAULT

Sometimes the machine catches itself.

One round in ten, no holder catches the machine — the Vault does. It is not a fee and not a cut. Nothing is skimmed off a winner's prize, because there is no winner that round.

THE VAULT HOLDS

—SV151

READING CHAIN…

Nothing has ever left it. Using it for the second machine requires a program upgrade.

WHAT IT IS FOR

A normal commercial gacha machine has to make money on the pull. The prizes come out of the takings, so the takings have to exceed the prizes, so the expected value is against you.

A machine stocked by the Vault does not have that problem. The pull itself does not need to be negative-EV, because the prize has already been subsidised by the Vault.

So the second machine works the other way around: you pay GATCHA to pull it, the prizes are SV151 the Vault already caught, and it is deliberately designed to be +EV for the player. The GATCHA you spend does not go to a treasury — it comes out of supply, which means the GATCHA that remains held carries greater relative weight on every future round.

WHERE IT STANDS TODAY

The second machine is not live yet. The program running GATCHA today contains no instruction capable of moving SV151 out of the Vault — that is deliberate, and it is why the balance above can only go up. Building the second machine therefore requires a program upgrade, and the pricing and access mechanics are still being designed.

What is decided is the shape: pay GATCHA, pull for SV151, +EV by design, and the GATCHA spent leaves supply. What is not decided is how it is priced and who can reach it first.

The holder machine does not stop when this one arrives. They run beside each other, funded by the same fee stream.

VAULT CATCHES

NONE YET

The Vault has not caught a machine yet. When it does, it lands here.
